    2. Received B.E., M.E. and Dr. of Engineering degrees from Tohoku University, Japan in 1981, 1984 and 1987, respectively.
    3. Joined Tohoku University in 1987: Assistant Professor (Apr.1987- Mar.1992), Associate Professor (Apr.1992 - Mar.1995), Professor (Apr.1995 - Mar.2023), President-appointed Extraordinary Professor (Apr. 2023 - ).
